Car of the Day - 2009 Bugatti 16_4 Veyron Bleu Centenaire
Bugatti celebrated the Centenary of the foundation of the original company with a special edition Veyron. The 2009 Bugatti 16.4 Veyron Bleu Centenaire. The Bleu is the last of the special edition Veyrons before the transference to GrandSport production. It features a special paint finish in matt and gloss Blue paint replacing the traditional two colour finish. From the front bonnet over the roof and through to the rear valance panel are finished in “sprintblue gloss” while the fenders and sides of the car are in “sprintblue matt”.
The special edition which also features roof-trim-stripes and exterior rearview mirrors in polished, anodised aluminium. A new special edition wheel design is used that expose the bright red brake-capillars. The grill and side intakes are in “mirror shine”..
The interior also gets it’s own unique combination of “snowbeige” leather finished with quilting on the seats. LED lights, Park Distance Control and a rearview camera have become part of the standard equipment for all Bugatti Veyrons from this year onwards
Although the special features are relatively mild for this special edition there is no doubt the end result is striking.
