Car of the Day - ABOUT, Instructions and contact address

Welcome to Car of the Day - a new website for motoring enthusiasts.

Each day I will publish a car of interest to enthusiasts as the Car of the Day. The cars will be diverse - the one criteria for selection is that they be interesting. You will not find a Toyota Aurion or a Honda Accord here.

Car of the Day profiles will be available in print ready PDF format. You can print, file and catalogue all or just the articles that cover your particular area or marque of interest.

The site will not be just limited to a single car each day, as we grow we will be introducing PDF pages and articles covering Motorpsort, Historic Events and Motoring Personality Profiles.

The site combines the best aspects of the Web with ability to download print ready pages to build your own books and enable a quick reference solution.

Feedback is welcomed and I am relying on word of mouth to assist with building this site so please forward the website address to your friends.

This site is also a showcase for my 3d Car modeling, same can be found at the following links;

Instructions for use of the pages.

Things you should know about the layout and design of the PDF pages.
  • PDFs are currently hosted on a free file sharing site (safe and efficient). This is a temporary measure until our website is completed.
  • Articles are categorised down the right edge of the page. In the case of a specific car profile the categories follow the same order;
  • Year (Introduced) - Make (Manufcaturer or Marque) - Model - Badge - Series at the top of the page
  • Category of vehicle, country of origin and category of article and the bottom.
  • Pages are designed for pinting on A4 paper using any quality desktop printer.
  • Hole marks are supplied for a standard four ring binder however pages can also be slotted into plastic sleeves.
  • Design and layout considerations are given to minimise ink used for printing. High density images are often grouped on a single page to offer the option of not printing that page if desired.
  • 120-150 gsm paper is recommended to give strength and some rigidity to the pages.
Future plans for additional PDF files
  • Pages formatted in A5 size
  • Articles formatted for display on Apple Tablets
  • Motorsport History and summary pages
  • Individual Chassis histories to compliment significant car profiles
  • Automotive Personalities
  • Car Technology
  • Car Design
  • Driving Skills
  • Great Drives
  • Historical Features
  • 1:18 Diecast Reviews
  • Event Coverage
  • Significant Cars for Sale

  1. This is like a dream come true, may God bless you Rod. I'm a modeller and have been looking around to find one site like this to find picture references and this is really, really good. I'll look around this site very well indeed. Thanks Rod!
